Combined Federal Campaign

The Klamath and Lake Counties Combined Federal Campaign

is governed nationally by the Office of Personnel Management in Washington, D.C. All national and international agencies listed in the brochure are approved by the national office. All local decisions are approved by the local federal coordinating committee chaired by Mike Shepherd with the Oregon Air National Guard.

The local coordinating committee is responsible for approving many things such as: 1) all of the state and local agencies to be listed in the campaign brochure; 2) the local campaign administrator or PCFO; 3) appointing a volunteer campaign chairperson, campaign goal, and a budget to operate the campagn; 4) review the fiscal accountability of recorded pledges, designations disbursed, and review of the independent auditor's report of the campaign.

The 2011 CFC fund drive was chaired by Donald Hoffheins with the Klamath Falls branch of the Bureau of Land Management. The 2011 campaign raised a total of $86,622. Local organizations seeking admission into the CFC fund drive are encouraged to contact Leroy Cabral at United Way, 882-5558. The United Way of the Klamath Basin is charged with administration of the campaign. The deadline for submission of an application is April 2, 2012.
