The United Way Loaned Executive program is vital to the overall success of the United Way Community Campaign. These special volunteers are responsible to raise about 60% of the campaign goal. Each executive volunteers between 40 and 50 hours during United Way's nine-week fund drive. They attend a two-day training and learn about the United Way member agencies, their programs, and much about United Way's operating policies and procedures. The loaned executives meet with CEO's and give presentations to thousands of employees at their workplace. There is no charge to participant in the program. This is an especially great learning opportunity for new managers or people new to Klamath County. Our thanks to the following companies for sponsoring the program in 2007: South Valley Bank & Trust, Oregon Air National Guard at Kingley Field, Sky Lakes Medical Center, Worksource Oregon Employment Dept., Pacific Crest FCU, and Sterling Savings Bank. The 2008 program training will be held September 3rd and 4th. Call United Way for details.
